Red Room Ministry Update

As we have continued faithfully to go each week to minister to the girls and bouncers at Red Room, we are beginning to see hints of what the Lord is doing there. God keeps opening up doors for us to continue to share the Gospel over and over especially with the bouncers. At times I know we drive them crazy because somehow we bring everything back to Jesus, yet they still actually kinda like having us around. I love that one day part of their testimonies will be about these crazy girls that just kept coming back and wouldn’t stop talking about Jesus.

Hakan, the Muslim bouncer, has really seemed to be searching recently in regards to his faith. He has actually been rejecting a lot of the things within the Muslim faith and culture because of how messed up they seem. Though he is still convinced that Allah is the truth, the aspects he is being drawn to of
who Allah is and what he’s choosing to believe in the faith is sounding more Christian like. I believe that God really is slowly revealing to Hakan who He actually is. We were able to give him a Bible and he said that he wanted to read it. More and more as we share the Gospel with him it seems like he is accepting the idea of Jesus’ grace and forgiveness. Where as before he couldn’t remotely seem to get his head around the idea.

As we continue to share Jesus with these guys and build relationships with them you can tell that they are really observing us and listening to test the genuineness of our faith.

The guys really look down on the girls that work there and tell us that we are wasting our time with them. So us continuing to love on the girls and share with them really is a ministry to the guys there as well. They are all so precious in the sight of God and are so worth it.

God is starting to pull down strongholds there and each week we see glimmers of the light shining through the darkness. Even with things as simple as Thurs and Fri nights becoming a lot slower nights for the club. Please continue to stand strong in prayer with us for their salvation and that the Red Room would stop being a strip club and become a beacon of hope and restoration to others in the industry.

• Strongholds to be brought down. 
• The Lord to speak supernaturally through us. 
• Opportunities to meet with the girls outside of work.
