Quick Update

I have been so blessed by all the amazing things the Lord has been doing during my preparations to move to London. I've been overwhelmed and exhausted at times but then God does something really cool that is just a confirmation that I'm walking in His will. Like walking into a thrift store to just quickly look to see if by chance they had any large duffle bag suitcases so that once I'm in London I can condense my suitcases down. And then right there when I walk in are 2 brand new suitcases still with the tags on them, exactly like I wanted and only $9/each. Or having a friend and her family offer for me to live at their house for the next month and a half to save rent. Or sending in all my paperwork for my visa last Tues. then getting it back in the mail today, less than a week later (it can take up to 6 weeks sometime). There are a million other cool little things the Lord has done that are just extra little blessings that are so underserved.

All the logistics of everything keep falling into place. Such as I now have my Shepherd's Staff account all set up (see more info under the 'Giving Financially' tab at the top). It may not all happen according to my timelines that I aimed for but they are all happening in the Lord's perfect timing. Whenever, I start to worry about something not getting done fast enough the Lord keeps just giving me a peace that He is in control and I can't mess up or change His timeline. He knows more than I do what needs to happen and how He will provide all my needs.

I will try my best to make sure that I am giving regular updates on my blog and share what the Lord is doing. I do apologize in advance though, I've never done a blog before and it may take me a bit to get the hang of frequently writing posts. Please email me at naomielissa84@gmail.com if you want to receive my monthly prayer updates or feel free to just email me if you have any questions. Any random notes of encouragement as well as updates or prayer requests of your lives would be greatly welcomed as well.
